Vic Metro will once again be proudly represented at the 2027 AFL Masters National Carnival in Gold Coast, joining teams from across Australia for a week of football, camaraderie and competition.

The National Carnival is one of the premier events on the AFL Masters calendar, bringing together players from all states and territories to celebrate the spirit of Masters football both on and off the field.

This is one not to miss. The Gold Coast has something for everyone, from beautiful beaches, bars and restaurants to theme parks and Hinterland adventures. Choose your own adventure for the week while representing Vic Metro and playing footy alongside your teammates.

Make The Star Residences your home away from home and select from a one, two or three bedroom apartment containing a functioning kitchen and laundry facilities. Ideal for partners, families and teammates travelling together.

A surcharge of $50 per room per night is applicable to accommodate any additional guests above the maximum number permitted or if a rollaway bed is required. Only available in apartments with a study.

How to Book

A limited number of rooms in each room type are reserved for the Vic Metro team until Wednesday 31 March 2027. After this date, the exclusive rate will remain available, subject to room availability.

Rooms are expected to fill quickly, so book early once bookings open to secure your preferred room type.

Want to extend your stay?

The Star is offering all Vic Metro team the same rate three nights pre and post the event dates of Saturday 25 September – Friday 1 October 2027, subject to room availability.

Terms & Conditions

• All accommodation bookings and payments must be made directly with The Star. AFL Masters Vic Metro (AFLVM) does not accept accommodation bookings or payments.
• A confirmed booking is an agreement between the guest and The Star and is subject to The Star’s applicable terms, conditions and cancellation policy.
• All changes and cancellations must be arranged directly with The Star. Any fees or refunds are determined by The Star; AFLVM cannot issue accommodation refunds.
• Event rooms held by The Star will be released for general sale to the public on 1 April 2027. The event rate will remain available after that date, subject to room availability.
• Guests are responsible for checking booking dates, guest details and room requirements, and for arranging accessibility or other special requests directly with The Star.
• Room types and availability may change until a booking is confirmed.

The Apparel Store is currently closed and will open in early 2027.

Apparel Information

• All New Players are required to purchase, Playing Jumper, Playing Shorts & Playing socks. (Women’s Shorts – Navy / Men’s Shorts – White)
• Training & Off-Field options are optional.
• Playing tops and polos will be handed to players at the final carnival training session.
• Vic Metro Carnival Polo’s are included with every player registration.
• Please refer to sizing charts available. As each item is custom-made, we’re unable to offer exchanges or refunds for change of mind or ordering errors
