AFLVM’s official apparel supplier S-Trend Sportswear is looking for an Administrative Assistant for a part-time position in South Melbourne.

STR designs high performance sportswear, which is certified by the prestigious Swiss laboratory SGS, and prides itself on a fast-paced, energetic and innovative culture. The organisation encompasses sales, administration and in-house R&D and has production teams across offices in Melbourne, Newcastle and China.

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for contributing to the efficiency, productivity and success of services provided to customers, and will report regularly to the Commercial Manager.

Job tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the smooth receipt and dispatch of customer deliveries
  • Contribute to the smooth running of company operations, including managing customer service, telephone enquiries and written correspondence
  • Keep a safe and clean reception area and general tidying of office space
  • Approximately 20 hours per week across 4 days

Mandatory skills and experience include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as immaculate presentation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and organise priorities and work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Satisfy “Working with Children” check or ability to obtain
