AFL Masters Vic Metro Announces Exciting New Sponsorship Partnership with Sundaylicious for the AFLVM Women’s 35s Competition.
7 September 2024 – The AFL Masters Victorian Metropolitan Football League Inc. (AFLVM) is thrilled to announce a dynamic new sponsorship partnership with Sundaylicious, marking an exciting new chapter in the growth and development of women’s football for over 35s. This collaboration will see Sundaylicious become the supporting partner of the AFLVM Women’s Competition, aiding in the growth for AFLVM women’s football.
As part of this agreement, Sundaylicious will play a role in promoting the Women’s Competition by developing promotional opportunities throughout the season. The partnership will also feature a range of engaging initiatives designed to celebrate and support female athletes, including community events, special promotions, and grassroots development programs, supporting our LGBTQIA+ community.

Created in the 1980s, AFL Masters is football that allows players over 35 the opportunity to participate in our great game of Australian Rules Football and to compete with similarly aged players in a safe, well organised and enjoyable atmosphere. Clubs exist throughout the Victorian metropolitan area, and Geelong, playing every second Sunday during the season.
The first ever AFLVM Women’s Competition was played on Saturday, 12 May 2018. Since then, the Women’s 35s competition has grown from strength to strength with over 300 registered players ahead of a fifth year of competition in 2024.
