AFL Masters Victorian Metropolitan Football League

AFL Masters Vic Metro (AFLVM) celebrated a milestone moment at Toorak Park on Sunday 12 July, with the inaugural AFLVM Battle of the Regions Rep Cup brought to you by S-Trend Sportswear. This event brought together the best of the North West and South East regions to battle for regional pride and glory.

The day featured both Women’s 35s and Men’s 35s representative matches, with players from clubs across AFLVM pulling on their regional colours and competing on a representative stage. The Rep Cup showcased the continued growth of AFLVM and celebrated the players, clubs, volunteers and supporters who make the AFLVM community so strong.

This was a significant day for AFLVM and the first of what was hoped to become a long-standing highlight on the competition calendar. Representative football gave players the chance to test themselves alongside and against some of the strongest talent in the competition, while also building pride in their region and connection across clubs. The Rep Cup also recognised the work of coaches, team managers, staff and volunteers. Their time, organisation and commitment helped bring the day to life. Their contribution was central to the success of the event and to the ongoing development of Masters football in Victoria.
